Lowrider Story

A Lowrider is a car or truck which has had its suspension system modified (sometimes with hydraulic suspension) so that it rides as low to the ground as possible. Lowriders often have user controlled height adjustable suspension. Lowriders are very often classic cars from the 1950s which rode low to begin with, although large numbers of 1940s and 1960s cars are also modified, and to a lesser degree newer vehicles. The word is also used to refer to those who drive or own such cars. A lowrider will traditionally have many factory offered accessories / options and often many after-market accessories added. As a result of the modifications, many lowriders are not street-legal vehicles.
Description of the subculture
Lowriders were originally unique to the Mexican-American or Chicano culture of Los Angeles County. Lowriders and “lowriding” then became part of Californian and south-western American urban culture as a whole. The aim of the lowriders is to cruise as slowly as possible, “Low and Slow” (“Bajito y Suavecito”) being their motto. Since the early 1990s, lowriders have become common in urban youth culture in general, primarily in West Coast hip hop. Today, the lowriding scene is diverse with many different cultures, vehicle makes and visual styles, however, it remains an important part of the Chicano community. One of the most popular places for lowriders has always been Whittier Boulevard in East Los Angeles. Essentially all the options available to today’s custom automobile creator are also available to the lowrider builder, and lowrider style varies greatly from region to region.
First Develop

The first development Lowrider style is begin from Scooter Matic Community that always create idea and improve their style motorcyle.
Budi Jaya Motor is the one of modificator to try solve the idea and also try to listen the Voice Of Customer. First Development is quit enough modification, but its so simple. Our small workshop at Jalan Kol. Sugiono Duren Sawit try to breakthrough idea from customer. This picture taken when First Development not yet finish, we still try lookin at aoutlook from the front of Scooter.
Modification start from Wheel and Velg back side and front side with Car Velg original, Indonesian version is “Velg Kaleng Alumunium” and with “Jari-Jari 72 Kipas”. We try to modification for use daily riding cause some customer request. For daily riding we try to use Velg size 4 Inch until 5 Inch on back side with tire 140/70/14. And in front side using 4 Inch velg with 120/70/14. Velg color its depend on customer request, we can use chrome model or color variation.
Honda Vario Project-2.
This is the other collection Budi Jaya Motor Modification. we always makes improvement in every launch modification try to be better. Honda Vario is the one our collection, this project for Lowrider only in 2 days [wheel side only]. This is our Masterpiece for package Lowrider.
Racing Car Velg we use for this project with brand new velg with size optional 5 Inch and 6 Inch for back side with detail 160/70/14 “Tubless”. Front side we use 4 Inch until 4,5 Inch with detail 140/70/14 “Tubless”. Change “Segitiga” and Engine Monting is center.
Many of modificator is not concern with wheel rotation, some modification result is not balance and off course when you riding is not good condition and makes your ride is WEIRD. thats why we try to really specific and measurement the project really detail, and the result you can compare the price and the result after modification. Some modification result is good enough and all the modification we use one tem engineer that all the person background from Motorcycle Community Road Race.
